Fiber cloth rotary disc filter is mainly used for further purification of surface water, deep treatment of sewage (installed after the secondary sedimentation tank of conventional water treatment systems,mainly removing total solids, combined with the addition of chemicals to remove some phosphorus,turbidity, COD, etc., suitable for the standard discharge of existing or newly built sewage treatment plants, and the drainage standard has been raised from level B to level A), reuse of reclaimed water, etc.
The principle of the semi immersed fiber cloth rotary disc filter is to operate according to the drum filtration method. The filter is composed of a series of horizontally installed rotatable filter discs,which are installed on the central pipe shaft. The maximum immersion volume can reach 60%. The sewage flows through the filter cloth from the inside out, and the filtered clean water flows out from the end of the machine. As the filtration time prolongs, the filter cloth will be covered by suspended solids trapped, resulting in an increase in filtration pressure difference. When the pre-set maximum pressure difference is reached, the turntable begins to slowly rotate, and the flushing rod cleans the suspended solids deposited on the filtration surface at a certain rhythm. The flushing water flows to dissolve suspended solids, and the backwash water is discharged from the box through a thick slurry hopper installed inside the equipment.During the cleaning process, the filtration of sewage is continuous and uninterrupted.
