Product Introduction

The pH measurement system operates through a sophisticated yet reliable electrochemical process. It consists of a rugged pH electrode (sensor) and an intelligent transmitter (controller/display).

The pH electrode generates a millivolt-level electrical signal that is directly proportional to the hydrogen ion activity in the solution. This signal is exceptionally weak and susceptible to interference. The transmitter performs two critical functions: first, it amplifies this weak analog signal; second, it converts it into a stable digital value. This value is then calculated against the internal calibration curve (typically set at pH 4.0, 7.0, and 10.0 buffer solutions) to provide an accurate, temperature-compensated pH reading on the clear display. The two-wire or four-wire loop-powered design also allows for seamless integration into modern process control systems.
